If you are using the Secure IT CD to install Secure IT onto your computer, then the first step would be to enter the Secure IT CD into the CD-ROM drive in your computer. Once the computer starts to the read the Secure IT CD, Secure IT should prompt you for the license key. The license key can be located in the Secure IT activation email that was sent to your email address. After the license key has been entered in correctly, Secure IT should ask you if you want to install Secure IT manually. Go ahead and click on "I'll do a manual install" button. If you aren't sure what to do at this point, then please contact Security Coverage at: 1-877-373-3320



The next screen is the License Agreement page. If you agree to the terms and you want to install Secure IT, then select "I Accept" and then click on the "Next" button.



At this screen, this is where you'll enter in your credentials, such as you first and last name and email address. any field that is denoted with an "*" must be filled in. Once you've filled in your credentials, then go ahead and click on the "Next" button.



At this point, Secure IT should start installing.



At this point, Secure IT has been installed on your computer. You may click on the "Finish" button.



Once Secure IT is installed on your computer, the first thing that it will do is update itself with the latest updates to make sure that it's up to date.



Throughout the update cycle, Secure IT will ask you to restart you computer. It's best to restart your computer each time it tells you to. Secure IT will automatically boot up at start up and will automatically start it's update process again until Secure IT has been completely updated.



Once all the updates are installed, then the installation is complete and you may start using Secure IT to do scans on your computer. By default, Secure IT will automatically begin protecting your computer once
