Arvig Lands on Prairie Business 50 Best Places to Work List—Again (That’s 5 in a Row!)

Lightning has struck for the fifth time in a row: Arvig has officially been named one of the Upper Midwest’s 50 Best Places to Work by Prairie Business magazine for 2026.

This marks Arvig’s fifth consecutive appearance on the list and its ninth time overall. The annual honor highlights top-tier organizations across western Minnesota, North Dakota, and South Dakota, with winners chosen through employee nominations detailing what makes their workplace exceptional.

“Making this list five years in a row means we’re either doing something remarkably right, or our team is just really bad at keeping secrets about how much they like working here,” joked David Arvig, Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. “In all seriousness, as an employee-owned company, this award belongs entirely to our people. They build the culture, deliver the connectivity, and make Arvig a place where people actually look forward to Monday mornings.”

Employees across the region submitted nominations grading their employers on everything from workplace culture and growth opportunities to team spirit, trust, and everyday morale.

Arvig and the rest of this year’s honorees are featured in the September 2026 issue of Prairie Business magazine.
